No more hopping between tools

Preparing one document often means opening a merge tool, a compressor and a page-number tool, downloading and re-uploading in between. PDF recipes do it all on one screen. The first step combines your PDFs and photos into one PDF, then the steps you chose run top to bottom, with page count, size and time shown for each. It is the "workflow" feature of paid PDF services, free and without an account.

Build and save your own

Use "Add a step" to attach OCR, page numbers or compression (up to 6 steps) and reorder them with ↑↓. Each step has its own settings. Press "Save as my recipe" to keep it on this device, or "Copy recipe link" to share the steps and settings (never the files) with someone else.

When the order matters

Add page numbers after merging so they run from 1 to the end. "Compress · Strong" turns pages into images, so put it before OCR; if it comes after, the run button locks and tells you why. Everything runs in your browser and files never go online.

How to use

  1. Check the steps and settings above. Add steps or change their order if needed.
  2. Drop or choose your PDF and photo files. You can reorder them in the file list.
  3. Press "Run all steps". Each step runs in turn and shows its result.
  4. Preview and download the finished PDF. Save combinations you use often with "Save as my recipe".
