SVG to PNG Converter Free - No Upload

Convert SVG vector graphics to PNG raster images. SVG files are scalable but not all apps support them. Drop SVG files below, choose PNG as the output format, and download the result. The PNG has the same pixel size as the SVG declares, and you can shrink it with a maximum size, but it cannot be enlarged. Everything runs in your browser with no upload. Handy for turning logos, icons and illustrations into images for presentations, documents and social media posts.

When to use it

Logo for a slide deck

Drop the SVG logo, set "Output format" to PNG and convert. Transparent areas stay transparent, so the logo sits cleanly on any slide background.

A batch of icons

Drop all the SVG icons together, convert, and press "Download all (ZIP)". Each icon becomes a PNG at its own size.

Smaller thumbnail of a drawing

Use "Max size (longest side)" with 800 px to make a lighter PNG for a web page. The aspect ratio is kept.

How to use

  1. Drop SVG files into the box or click to choose them.
  2. Set the output format to PNG. Optionally pick "Max size (longest side)" to make the image smaller; the default keeps the original size.
  3. Press Convert and download PNG files one by one or all at once as a ZIP.

How it works

Each SVG file is loaded into your browser and drawn with the browser's built-in SVG rendering engine at the size written in the file (its width and height, or a default size chosen by your browser when the file gives none). The result is drawn onto an HTML Canvas and encoded as PNG, keeping transparency. If you pick a max size, larger images are scaled down; smaller ones are never enlarged. The SVG itself stays scalable, but the PNG is a fixed number of pixels. The entire process happens locally in your browser, so your files never leave your device. How to verify. Also available as a free REST API for developers and AI agents (edge-processed, zero retention).

FAQ

Will converting SVG to PNG lose quality?

The PNG is a fixed number of pixels, unlike the SVG, so it can look soft if you later enlarge it. This tool keeps the SVG's own size and cannot make the PNG larger, so if you need a big, crisp PNG, set a larger width and height in the SVG first.

Can I choose the output size?

Only to make it smaller. "Max size (longest side)" offers Keep original size, 3840, 1920, 1280 and 800 px, keeps the aspect ratio and never enlarges. The PNG otherwise comes out at the size the SVG declares.

Does it keep transparency?

Yes. PNG supports transparency, so transparent areas in your SVG remain transparent in the output.

Can I convert many SVG files at once?

Yes. Drop or select multiple SVG files. They are all converted and can be downloaded individually or as a ZIP.

Are my files uploaded?

No. All conversion runs in your browser. Files never leave your device.

Can I make the PNG larger than the SVG's own size?

No. "Max size" can only reduce, and small images are never enlarged. To get a bigger PNG, set a larger width and height in the SVG itself first.

Is the background transparent?

Yes, in PNG output. If you pick JPG, transparent areas become white.

Why did the PNG come out blurry on a high-density screen?

The PNG has the same pixel size as the SVG's declared size. Export from the source with larger dimensions if you need a crisp large image.
